It's Snowing In France!

Well, at least it has been.

It's been a slow start to the season in France with not much of the white stuff falling. However it seems that the new year brought some fresh snow, with Morzine and Avoriaz getting a share of the wealth.

The snow is set to continue this week, which should build things up nicely. Another good dump or two before the end of the month would put us in great shape... here's to hoping it keeps snowing!

Just got back from 10 days in Morzine. Since the 3rd conditions have been pretty good on most slopes. Seems loads of the Port du Soleil is open now, so a lot of runs to choose from.

Nice one, so did you get some good riding in? Did you check out any of the snowparks?

Yeah, by the end of the holiday I was doing some of my best riding yet. There were two parks open, but didn't spend loads of time in either of them. I think we got some video from one of the parks on the last day and if I can track it down will post it up on my site. Mainly we were cruising the pistes and off-piste. Some really good stuff to be found in the far reaches, away from Avoriaz. Very quiet by comparison, loads of untouched powder!
